When you come to our studio in Pittsburgh- you are welcomed by smiling faces, and a super clean studio that feels like the comfort of your own home.

Help yourself to a coffee or mimosa, as our studio manager hangs your coats, and helps you with diaper bags. Our bathroom is new parent friendly- filled with everything you need from a milk catcher to relieve engorgement, to a new peribottle for each guest. We don’t just have essentials for parents but also babies. Diapers and wipes, pacifiers and sanitizer, outfits and combs for those kiddos born with tons of hair!

Now we get to the fun part, you tell us what colors you love or what nursery theme you’d like to incorporate, you help us pick from our selection of high quality props and wraps to curate your beautiful photos with our help!

You will sit just feet away on our cozy furniture while you watch our safety-first photographers soothe and beautifully wrap and pose your baby. You might just pick up a few tricks from us!

Doulas by trade- our photographers are experts in newborn soothing, safety, and sleep! We typically work through 3-5 sets, as well as parent photos.

If you would like to be in photos, which we absolutely encourage, you can either have hair and makeup provided by our in-house makeup and hair artist, or you can do your own while we photograph the baby or before you arrive.

We absolutely love to do family photos with our Pittsburgh newborn sessions, and ask that partners bring neutral not striped clothes to be photographed in. We can also customize specific photos for props you bring from home, is dad a football player? Bring a football for poses with baby! Do you have your grandmother’s veil? Awesome!

At Burgh Babies Photography we are happy to meet you where you are at in your postpartum experience. We want to make this as enjoyable and memorable as possible for Pittsburgh families.
